The deeper i delve into this subject, the stranger answers i get i have been scanning cyberspace for mumbai related material but to no avail, you have provided me with content i can actually gain knowledge from! i'm currently doing a project on Mumbai at prison university & i've been running into article after article of the same stuff. i can't understand why these people do it! if you feel strong feelings on a subject especially one as prevalent as this, why wouldn't they come up with their own opinions? i commend you for taking that extra step in your "Pushing Off « Verbalizing" page.
Best Regards, Mumbai Voices

Fabulous post, as always. And I am relieved to hear it was just fog around the Taj - when I saw your other picture, I thought it was the pollution! But with your arduous journey, now I also understand why IZ didn't love it.

Aww... memories of places I've been! Palolem was my home base for probably too much of my trip in '08. Did you happen to stop at Big Bamboo? We got pretty tight with the owners; and they made a wicked chicken moglai. Too bad you missed the Silent Noise party.

How I wished I could've spent more time in Hampi! Darned government closed the city for the president's visit and the police forced all the non-citizens to leave. There was something truly sacred about that place, even sans cow dooty sculptures. :) Sigh. I expect a full photo-documented report to see what I missed.
