Baby Ella | Newborn Photography in San Francisco

Photographing newborn babies is one my favorite things to do. Each family is unique and every baby has their own little budding personality, unfolding in real time as I photograph the family. The process always feels so… real. It feels intimate - like we’re all sharing in the wonder of the moment. It also feels good to play the role of documentarian. Especially since I’m documenting a time so sacred and so fleeting, creating images that these parents will later savor with such nostalgia and wistfulness. I love every part of it.
